Yixin Jiang, a graduate student exploring profession landscape architecture. Now pursuing master of Landscape Architecture  and Urban Design dual degree in Washington University in St. Louis after graduating from Anhui Architecture University, earning a 4-year Bachelor Degree of engineering in Landscape Architecture.

Born in Yangzhou, a small garden city where dignitaries flocked in from ancient times and one of the human settlements at present, modern landscape design and planning definitely plays an essential part in the development of the city. Her affinity as well as parents’ history edification for it drove her to the field of landscape architecture. Since then, nearly everything about landscape and urban planning or design were aesthetically impressed in mind originated in travel experience from ocean to developed urban or wilderness.

Through design work, the strong correlation among details has equipped Yixin with a theoretical basis for proposing decisions, concepts and adopted a vision considering landscapes on both at micro and macro level.

Moreover, Yixin adopts and absorbs inspiration through part-time art life such as original video editing, calligraphy, photography retouching, figure skating, kpop dance covering and finally, singing plus travelling.
